Notifications in DataPortal
This feature allow to sends message to assigned users when alarm situations happens. All defined alarms threshold can execute sending an email or SMS notification even nobody is logged into the system.
This is very useful thing when more persons need to know about alarms situations on the monitored object but there are not always online. Notification text can be mixed with dynamic built-in variables that sends information about DATASOURCE or TAG origin and time of occurrence. Message may contain a link to SCREEN, a fast shortcut to click and open visualization. In situation when system operator not acknowledge the alarm in permitted time system can send again the same notification to different user.
Notification rules are not limited.
One rule can be assigned with different TAGs with active alarming function.
To start using notification add new rule first.
